I am so excited to be taking a 10-day road trip with my husband in a couple of weeks! It started out that we were going to make the drive from texas to nevada to visit my brother in las vegas, but then we started talking about where we'd like to stop along the way. I'm an east coast girl and have been pretty much everywhere along the east coast except NH and RI (even been to the Jersey Shore...good times), but I have never been west of San Antonio so I started to think of all the places I've always wanted to visit. My husband's not from the United States, so there are MANY places he hasn't been, but ever since we met, he has always mentioned the Grand Canyon as a place he must visit, so that's definitely on our intended route.
Here are few other places we were thinking of...
route 66 (this one is mine...we must).
the hoover dam.
las vegas (we still gotta visit my little bro).
chateau marmont (another personal fascination of mine).
santa monica pier (because my brother thinks it's one of the coolest places he's ever been).
Where would you suggest? ...we'll take playlist suggestions as well (wink, wink).

ReplyDeleteso this is another reason for the road trip cuz who knows when we'll be back out this way again...
If you get a chance to vist the Badlands - do. And don't forget to bring your lightsaber for an impromptu star wars fight. The Japanese tourists love it.
